I just dreamed that I gave birth to a girl. We also somehow at the very same time suddenly had a new daughter who was 3 or 4 years old. She had long sandy brown hair and dark skin. She looked Latina, and I named her "Maria Rosa." The baby had lots of thick long black hair, about 2-3 inches long. She was born early but was perfectly healthy. In the dream, I didn't even call the midwife till she had been born for some time. Maria said that I had to give the new baby a spring flower name. I called them twins because they came to us at the same time, but I never dreamed about actually giving birth to Maria, just the baby.
This might sound strange but there may be some truth in it. We are applying for foster-adoption. We could potentially adopt a preschooler.
And as for the newborn with the long hair---all of our babies have been born with dark hair. Our oldest and youngest daughters were both born with black hair. So it's possible. I didn't name the baby in the dream before I woke up...
Oooh---this is all so exciting. Pregnancy and birth---and adoption---are all such wondrous mysteries!
Now I'm wondering---what if you are a girl?
