My "waist" now measures 36 1/4 inches, which was what it was at when I was 23 weeks pregnant with Baby #1. I'm somewhere around 12 weeks pregnant this time. What will my waist be when I get to be full term??!! ACK!!! For comparison, with Baby #1, I have 41 inches recorded as my waist measurement the week she was born.
Along with this expansion, the last couple of days I've been having intense lower back pain. I just found a great comfort measure: I was bent over in the bathtub, with the faucet on, with the hot water pouring over my back. It felt fabulous. I just wish I had one of those detachable shower heads! Anyone out there have any other magic tricks for the infamous pregnancy back?
